The Synergie Professional Peel treatments are designed to reduce the appearance of irregularities on the skin’s surface and reveal a smoother, revitalised texture by regenerating and resurfacing the skin. These treatments remove the top layers of the skin, help to stimulate collagen remodelling, reduce tonal discolouration, improve skin texture and hydration, reduce congestion and improve the overall appearance of the skin.
A personalised in-clinic consultation will assess your unique skin needs and determine the most suitable treatments, as well as the ideal number of peels required to achieve your desired results.
The results of clinical skin rejuvenation treatments, such as chemical peels and laser treatments, can be accelerated and enhanced when used in conjunction with cosmeceuticals. This multifaceted approach not only equates to optimum outcomes, but it is also the safest method to adopt. Preparing the skin prior to a peel or laser treatment can reduce postinflammatory hyperpigmentation, optimise cellular function and communication to allow the skin to recover faster and more effectively post-treatment. The Synergie Skin ingredients that are essential prior to a clinical treatment are:
A gentle yet effective facial designed to enhance skin texture and radiance. This treatment combines the natural exfoliating power of papaya enzyme with 15% lactic acid for all skin types, including sensitive and higher Fitzpatrick classifications.
Ideal for premature ageing, solar damage, dehydration, hyperpigmentation, enlarged pores, skin congestion
The Lactic Acid Peel is a type of alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) and is a highly active yet gentle chemical exfoliation. This peel works by amplifying the skin's natural moisture levels, inhibiting tyrosinase production to reduce pigmentation, and stimulating basal cell mitosis for improved skin firmness and texture.
Ideal for solar damage, premature ageing, fine lines, dehydration, hyperpigmentation
A bespoke combination of lactic and salicylic acid. Lactic acid amplifies natural moisture properties, inhibits tyrosinase production and stimulates basal cell mitosis for firmer, hydrated, evenly toned skin. Salicylic acid results in deep pore purification, exfoliation and potent anti-inflammatory activity for congested, problematic skin.
Ideal for problematic acne, congestion, premature ageing, solar damage, fine lines, dehydration, hyperpigmentation
Salicylic Acid Peels are a type of beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) peel known for their ability to deeply exfoliate the skin while targeting oiliness, acne, and inflammation. Penetrating deep into the pores to clear blockages, reduce acne, and refine the skin's texture. This makes it particularly effective for individuals with oily, acne-prone skin, or those seeking a smoother, more even complexion.
Ideal for problematic acne, congestion, inflammation
A powerful resurfacing treatment inhibits pigment production to brighten and even skin tone, while deeply exfoliating the outer layers to refine surface texture, reduce visible pores, fine lines and wrinkles. As mandelic acid contributes antibacterial properties it is fantastic for clearing out congested, oily and acne prone skin, tackling breakouts while mattifying excessive t-zone shine.
Ideal hyperpigmentation, solar damage, fine lines, acne, congestion, enlarged pores, excessive oil flow
A potent yet precisely balanced treatment, the Modified Jessner Peel is formulated to target multiple skin concerns. This advanced, professional-grade peel combines lactic acid, salicylic acid, and resorcinol, working synergistically to exfoliate, clarify, and rejuvenate the skin for a visibly clearer, smoother, and more radiant complexion.
Ideal for enlarged pores, excessive oil flow, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, solar damage, congestion, combination skin

While some clients see visible improvement after just one session, we generally recommend a course of 4 to 6 treatments, spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart, for optimal and lasting results.
You may experience a mild tingling or warmth as the solution is applied. Treatments typically take 30–45 minutes, and your skin specialist will monitor your skin closely throughout. After the peel is neutralised, a calming serum and SPF are applied.
A pre-treatment consultation is essential to assess your skin’s unique needs and determine the most suitable peel for you. During this consultation, we’ll select the right type and strength of peel to ensure both safety and effectiveness. For patients with higher Fitzpatrick classifications (darker skin tones), there is an increased risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) if the skin is not properly prepped before treatment, and aftercare instructions are not carefully followed.
Downtime varies depending on the strength of the peel. You may experience:
Avoid active ingredients (retinol, AHAs, BHAs) for at least 5–7 days, apply a gentle cleanser and nourishing moisturiser, use a broad-spectrum SPF daily, and do not pick or peel flaking skin — let it shed naturally
Patients with active cold sores (herpes simplex), severe rosacea, or sensitive skin may not be ideal candidates for specific peels due to stronger exfoliation. A patch test may be recommended for those with more sensitive or reactive skin to ensure the peel’s suitability.
