Unless advised by your medical Doctor; please avoid blood-thinning medication (e.g. aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil).

If you consume Natural Supplements which contain blood thinning herbs, we recommend avoiding consumption prior to your appointment. Please consult with your medical advisor.

Medications and supplements increase the risk of bruising.

Bruising and Swelling

Due to needle penetration to the skin, the risk of bruising is inevitable. To minimise extensive bruising we recommend Arnica tablets 48 hours prior to your appointment.

Anti-histamine tablets are also recommended for swelling if you experience hay-fever regularly. These can be purchased at your local Pharmacist.

If you have an active cold sore, to avoid the risk of infection we recommend waiting 2 weeks or until the cold sore is no longer present on your lips to commence treatment.

If you have a history of cold sores, we recommend taking anti-viral tablets 24 hours prior to your appointment to minimise an outbreak. Please consult with your Doctor or local Pharmacist for medical treatment.

After your appointment

Do not touch the injected area/s.
No exercise for at least 24 hours.
Avoid Retinol products within 24 hours.
No make up application within 24 hours.
No alcohol consumption within 24 hours.
No smoking - including vapes and cigarettes within 24 hours.
Apply the provided icepack intermittently to minimise bruising.
Pain an tenderness is expected. Paracetamol is recommend to soothe discomfort.
If you are receiving an Anti-Wrinkle Treatment; remain up right for at least 4 hours.
Ensure all pillowcases are freshly cleaned.
Sleep with your head slightly elevated to minimise swelling.

What to expect

Wrinkle Reducing Treatment

Immediately after treatment the following are highly expected;

Mild headache.
Localised swelling and tenderness.
Puncture marks with potential bruising.
Stiffness and tightness is common and gradually settles over the 2 week period.

Results are seen from 7 days and take 14 days for the full effect, lasting on average 3-4 months. Retreatment is recommended for maintenance for wrinkle-free skin.

Facial Contour Treatment

Immediately after treatment the following are highly expected;

Mild headache.
Swelling and tenderness.
Bruising and redness.
Puncture marks
Localised lumps and bumps.

Results are seen immediately with the side effects settling in days to weeks. Results last on average 6-12+ months depending on the individual and amount of product injected. Retreatment is recommended for maintenance. however dependent on the individuals desired results.

Lumps and bumps are highly common for at least 4 weeks during the integration of the product into your anatomy and will soften gradually. We recommend massaging the treated area/s from 7 days and conclude at 4 weeks.

Complications including infection or vascular occlusions are to be reviewed immediately by the injecting practitioner.
